Highly regarded dessert wine from the Barsac region of Bordeaux, classified as a Second Cru Classé (Second Growth). This vintage is noted for its balance of intense botrytis richness and a "racy" line of fresh acidity.
Aromas: Bold notes of warm pineapple, baked pears, honey, ginger, and orange blossoms.
Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated with flavors of candied apricot, lemon confit, and tropical fruits.
Finish: Long and spicy, often described as having a mineral or "clean" conclusion.
Composition: A classic Bordeaux blend consisting of 87% Sémillon and 13% Sauvignon Blanc.
Production: Aged in French oak barrels (approximately 37% new oak).
