A highly regarded Portuguese white wine from the Monção and Melgaço subregion of Vinho Verde. Crafted by legendary winemaker Anselmo Mendes—often called the "King of Alvarinho"—this specific vintage highlights freshness, precision, and regional identity.
Aroma: Dominated by vibrant citrus fruit, fresh lemon peel, and explicit mineral undertones.
Palate: Light, refreshing, and balanced, combining the aromatic lift of Loureiro, the structure of Avesso, and the tropical complexity of Alvarinho.
Grape Varieties: A blend of Loureiro (40%), Avesso (40%), and Alvarinho (20%).
Winemaking Style: Unoaked, undergoing long and slow low-temperature fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by regular lees contact to build texture.
