Agrapart & Fils "7 Crus" Extra Brut is a highly regarded grower Champagne that serves as the entry-level cuvée for the renowned Pascal Agrapart domaine in Avize. It is prized for its precision, electric acidity, and chalky minerality.
The Blend: Typically composed of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir.
The Villages: Grapes are harvested from four Grand Crus (Avize, Oger, Cramant, Oiry) and three Premier Crus (Avenay Val d’Or, Bergères les Vertus, Mardeuil).
Production: Fermented with native yeasts and aged on the lees for 24 to 36 months. Approximately 25% of the wine is aged in neutral oak casks.
Dosage: As an "Extra Brut," it has a very low dosage, typically ranging from 4 to 7 grams per liter depending on the specific disgorgement.
