Suntory Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a premium blended whisky designed to be the "paragon" of Japanese blending. Introduced in 2015, it replaced age-statement expressions like Hibiki 12 during a period of limited aged stock.
Nose: Floral and fresh; notes of rose, lychee, rosemary, and sandalwood.
Palate: Honey-like sweetness with candied orange peel, white chocolate, and apricot.
Finish: Subtle and long with a lingering hint of Mizunara.
The Blend: A "symphony" of at least 10 malt and grain whiskies sourced from Suntory’s three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita.
The Casks: It is aged in five different types of casks, including American white oak, sherry, and the rare Mizunara (Japanese oak), which provides its signature sandalwood and incense notes.
The Bottle: Features 24 facets, representing the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese lunar calendar.
