Maker's Mark 46 is a 94-proof (47% ABV) Kentucky straight bourbon finished with seared French oak staves in a climate-controlled, cool limestone cellar. It is created by taking fully matured Maker's Mark, inserting 10 special French oak staves into the barrel, and aging it for an additional nine weeks to produce deeper, bolder notes of caramel, vanilla, and baking spice without bitterness.
