A premium, additive-free French brandy produced in the prestigious Bas-Armagnac region. Crafted by Eric Artiguelongue, a veteran blender with decades of experience, this 80-proof (40% ABV) spirit is highly regarded for its balance of bold wood aging and vibrant fruit character. It offers an affordable alternative to high-end Cognacs of similar age.
Appearance: Rich, deep mahogany color.
Aroma: A perfumed bouquet featuring soft oak, white grape, vanilla, and a bright, subtle saltiness.
Palate: A silky, velvety texture that opens with distinctive violet notes. It develops into a sweet, caramel-tinged mid-palate with hints of nuttiness.
Finish: A juicy, mouthwatering exit highlighted by Meyer lemon peel, zesty citrus, and warm ginger spice.
Grape Blend: A specific composition of 60% Ugni Blanc, 20% Baco, 10% Colombard, and 10% Folle Blanche.
Distillation: Each grape varietal is fermented separately and single-distilled in traditional pot-column hybrid stills.
Aging: Fully matured for a minimum of 15 years in Gascon oak barrels, exceeding the standard 10-year minimum required for the XO designation
