A traditional French apéritif (usually 17% ABV) made by blending three parts fresh cider apple juice with one part Calvados. Produced by the family-run Christian Drouin distillery in the Pays d'Auge region, it is distinguished by an extended aging process of 3 to 4 years in oak barrels—well beyond the 14-month legal minimum—to ensure a smooth, balanced profile.
Nose: Fresh apple aromas mixed with sweet spices (cinnamon, vanilla), honey, and an earthy richness.
Palate: Exuberantly fruity with notes of baked apple, buttery brown sugar, and toasted almonds.
Finish: Smooth and long-lasting, often described as having the flavor of a "rustic apple pie"
