A premium dessert sherry from one of the oldest bodegas in Jerez, Spain. It is widely considered one of the best affordable examples of the Pedro Ximénez (PX) style, known for its extreme sweetness and syrupy texture.
Aromas: Intense notes of raisins, dried figs, dates, and hints of chocolate, coffee, and licorice.
Palate: Thick and velvety with high residual sugar (approx. 405g/L), balanced by a subtle acidity that prevents it from being cloying.
Aging: This wine is aged for an average of 10 years in a traditional solera system.
Appearance: It has a deep mahogany, almost opaque black color.
Pairings: It is famously poured over vanilla ice cream. It also pairs exceptionally well with rich desserts like chocolate fondant, blue cheeses, or Christmas mince pies.
