Weinert Carrascal Red 2011

The grapes come from many vineyards which are situated in Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu, specifically in the districts of drummond, Lunlunta, agrelo, Perdriel, Ugarteche and russell. 

40% Malbec, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 25% Merlot

Deliciously savoury, with aromas of dried oregano, thyme, and black olive tapenade. The tannins are nicely integrated due to the bottle age. Carrascal offers a mix of red and black fruit with baker's chocolate, mint, and herbal tones with an earthy tobacco finish.
