The Ashmead family began their wine adventure when they purchased the Elderton vineyard in 1979 and first released wines from the Estate in 1982. 

Made from premium South Australian fruit, with quality winemaking & oak handling, these wines will always be priced to offer exceptional value for money. Aged for a short time in predominantly old American puncheons. 

 Aromas of plum, cherry, and cassis. On the palate notes of plum, cherry, cassis and hints of vanilla. Mid to full bodied.
