Denis has the range of Cairanne terroirs: south-facing slopes with white and blue clays-soils, the lower terraces of the 'Garrigues', the high plateau with cobbles covering underlying white and red clays, along with the richer soils close to the Plan de Dieu. These varied holdings give birth to a selection of great red wines; some of a more powerful, rich, full-bodied but harmonious style, others of a lighter, fresher, more fruity style.

Grapes are hand-harvested at their optimum maturity from the region’s “terroir garrigues” (stone terraces). They are then sorted, and each grape variety is vinified separately.

Layers of black fruit flavors and soft spices on the nose. This wine has freshness and a mineral touch not found in most Cairanne wines. The black fruits carry through the palette with white peppery spicy notes, licorice and subtle garrigue notes.
