Deep red in colour and very inviting to smell, with aromas of fresh licorice, blueberry conserve and spices (clove, black pepper, nutmeg). Full bodied but with excellent balance and a dry, firm finish. Appears to have the structure and balance to benefit from long term cellaring if you wish. Also good to drink now with robust food (char grilled meat would be perfect). A slightly drier, more elegant wine than the 2013. Best drinking now-2022+
