A premium, non-vintage Madeira designed to replicate the rich, full-bodied style that was popular in 18th- and 19th-century New York. It is widely considered the sweetest and richest entry in the Historic Series.
Flavor Highlights: Expect deep layers of caramel, toffee, and dark chocolate, often accented by notes of coffee, dates, and roasted nuts like almonds and hazelnuts.
Grape: 100% Malvasia (the richest of the four traditional Madeira noble grapes).
Production: Produced in collaboration with Vinhos Barbeito. It is a blend of younger wines (average 10 years) and much older stocks (60–100 years old) to achieve the depth of a vintage Madeira at a more accessible price.
Style: Sweet and luscious, yet balanced by the high acidity typical of high-quality Madeira.
