A non-vintage, three-year-old fortified wine known for its accessible, sweet profile. While the Tinta Negra Mole grape was historically undervalued compared to "noble" varieties like Bual or Malmsey, this bottling is celebrated for its high quality-to-price ratio and concentrated aromas.
Palate: Medium-sweet and full-bodied. You’ll typically find flavors of burnt caramel, toffee, and warm pecan pie, balanced by a sharp, firm acidity that prevents it from feeling cloying.
Aroma: Nuanced notes of dried fruits (sultanas), marzipan, amber honey, and even hints of suede leather or Turkish delight.
Color: Deep mahogany with a characteristic green or orange edge.
Style: A "Fine Rich" Madeira, meaning it is at the sweeter end of the spectrum and has been aged in oak for at least three years.
