Philippe Jaboulet and his son, Vincent, carry on long-established family winemaking traditions at Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet in Crozes-Hermitage. Located in the northern Rhône Valley about one mile south of Tain l’Hermitage, the domaine was founded in 2006 following the sale of Maison Paul Jaboulet Ainé, where Philippe managed the family’s vineyards and handled all grape purchasing. After the sale, Philippe and Vincent retained about 32 acres of the family’s vineyards, including most notably a parcel of the original Thalabert vineyard, which is situated in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation.
Rich dark fruits, dark cherry, anise, and dark chocolate flavours concentrated on the palate and balanced with fresh acidity, enjoy this velvety Rhône red with a roast rack of lamb, roast chicken, roast veal, rolled pork roast, or rack of lamb.

More cassis and ripe blackberry fruits as well as spicy wood and violet notes emerge from the 2019 Crozes-Hermitage Nouvelère, and it's a richer, medium to full-bodied, nicely textured Crozes Hermitage. As with the base Crozes, it's not yet bottled.
