This mainly Merlot wine is bright with a plump structure and ripe tannins. It is full, but balanced with fruit and acidity. Drink this generous wine from 2027.

Ripe red and blue fruits, spring flowers, chocolate, and spicy wood notes all emerge from the 2021 Château De Sales, a medium-bodied, forward, charming Pomerol that has terrific overall balance, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It shows the elegant, charming style of the vintage nicely and I suspect will drink well for over a decade.

Offers showy raspberry and blood orange coulis flavors, laced with a racy savory note and carried by lively acidity. Reveals cedar and sanguine hints on the finish, which also has a touch of grain (in line with the vintage), but this has cut and verve. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
