It originates from the Côteaux du Giennois appellation, a satellite of Pouilly-Fumé, which features limestone and flint soils. This wine is noted for being a more complex and savory expression of Sauvignon Blanc, making it a stylistic departure from leaner examples.
The palate shows complexity and savoriness, with hints of toasted hay, quinine, and a cooling minerality.

This gold-colored wine has an aromatic nose of pureed apple, clove and vanilla baking spice, quince, brioche, toasted walnuts, ginger and orange peel. The creamy-textured wine is fruit forward with an underlying baking spice that imparts depth and focus. As with many things that get better with age, you can drink now, but this wine will continue to improve in the bottle until 2029.
