90% Nero d'Avola 10% Pignatello field blend is the only red wine produced from Salvatore Marino's 2-hectare vineyard on the southeast coast of Sicily. 

 Salvatore Marino strives to maintain the equilibrium of biodiversity in the vineyard, working entirely by hand.

 Clay-limestone earth laden with marine fossils is nestled between the Ionian and Mediterranean seas, and the 30-year-old vines are hand-tended with the lunar cycle. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and just one week of maceration, produces a fresh and focused red with a more seaside version than most, with notes of black fruit, iodine, cherry, and kalamata olive.
