The estate comprises 74 acres in the Teramo province in the Northeastern corner of Abruzzo which is protected by the Grand Sasso range (9,560 feet) to the North and West and the Maiella range to the South. From the East, the vineyards are exposed to the moderating sea breezes from the Adriatic. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for six months in Slavonian oak casks
Flavor Profile: Dried flowers, cherries, sage, and tobacco on the nose. Full-bodied, with savory and mineral layers framed by firm tannins. Excellent balance and freshness. From organically grown grapes.

This is a youthful and juicy montepulciano that has aromas of blueberries, wet herbs and violets. It’s full-bodied with broad, berry-soaked tannins. From organically grown grapes. Try from 2025.

The 2022 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo opens with a darkly floral burst of black cherries and crushed violets. Round and pleasantly rich upon entry, this gains energy as ripe red berry fruit notes are propelled by juicy acidity. The 2022 finishes with medium length and a subtle blackberry tinge, but I crave a bit more complexity.
