Godello is a white grape variety grown in Spain and Portugal. It is thought to originate in Galicia, in the northwestern corner of Spain.

On the nose, you can detect green apple, pear, and citrus notes, with a backdrop of white flowers and fresh herbs.

Godello pairs well with light proteins, grilled fruits, nuts, citrus, or herbs like coriander or fennel. Try grilled shrimp with a citrus-herb marinade topped with toasted hazelnuts.
