Domaine Ghislaine Barthod Bourgogne Les Graviers Chardonnay 2023

The first vintage of Ghislaine Barthod's Bourgogne Blanc, the fruit comes from Les Gravieres in Gilly-Les-Citeaux by Chambolle-Musigny. These are young vines planted on stony soils. Fermented and matured in demi-muids (double-size barriques). Pale lemon in color with a layered nose of waxy lemons, poached pear, and a touch of sweet spice. Fleshy orchard fruits and lively acids combine on this layered and moreish palate. A wine that punches above its weight with a silky, long finish.
