The 2022 Dolcetto d'Alba is exquisite. In this vintage, the Dolcetto is wonderfully lifted and finessed. Crushed flowers, blue/purplish fruit, mint and lavender are some of the many nuances that grace this striking Dolcetto. The 2022 saw 60 days on the skins, with submerged cap maceration, followed by a year in cask. It is quite simply one of the best Dolcettos I have tasted from Roagna. This is a very serious wine by any measure.

This red is taut yet juicy, revealing cherry, boysenberry, plum skin and spice notes. Turns more compact on the finish. Should pair well with salume and cheese. Drink now through 2026. 1,000 cases made.
