Cantalupo's 2016 Ghemme Collis Breclemae is wild, exotic and totally beguiling. Even so, my impression is that the 2016 is only showing a hint of its potential. In the glass, the 2016 is both powerful and incredibly finessed. Time brings out hints of red fruit, orange peel, cedar, tobacco and dried rose petal. Tasting the 2016 today is like reading the first chapter of a book, knowing the full story has yet to be told. Quite simply, the 2016 Collis Breclemae is magical. Don't miss it.
