Fine nose of small wood, boxwood, pine needles but also cardamom and chamomile with a side of essential oils which announces a journey that is both healthy and tasty in the plant kingdom. The palate is supple and round, a little more gourmand than that of Beaune Lulunne, but still light and cheerful. With its delicate fat and good acidity, this green-fingered wine takes up the challenge of pairing with asparagus!

The 2020 Savigny-lès-Blanc Vieilles Vignes, a blend of three climats populated by vines that date from from the 1960s. It has an attractive bouquet with pressed white flower and light nectarine aromas. The palate is quite taut and focused, the acidity nicely judged with a judicious twist of sour lemon lending tension on the finish. This is certainly worth seeking out.
