Deep ruby with purple hues; aromas of cherry, blackberry, and soft spices lingering through the finish. Full-bodied with a good acidity and character. Tannins are persistent, yet smooth. This wine matches perfectly with Italian or Mediterranean cuisine such as pasta dishes, pizza or grilled lamb, but also stands up to tasty meat such as barbecue ribs or duck breast.
Mora & Memo MORA & MEMO VERMENTINO di Sardegna 750ML 2017Mora&Memo vineyards are located in the south-eastern corner of Sardinia, a rolling hill area surrounded by the Sette Fratelli peaks, the tallest mountains of the south of the island. It is an area of strong winegrowing vocation, where the white limestone soil is punctuated by the green of the vines and the olive trees together with the Mediterranean flora. Intense and persistent bouquet with floral and herbal aromas, rosemary, thyme and sage. On the palette, citrus, bright green apple, almond, and sea spray interplay together to a nice dry mineral finish. Perfect for fish with delicate flesh seasoned with light sauces, oysters, clams, and grilled light meats that highlight green and herbal flavors.
