In Apremont, old vines below Mont Granier are from three vineyards totaling two hectares planted on west-facing slopes. Guyot and Cordon Royal training. 

Schist and ardoise (a type of hard, black schist native to the region), mixed with clay

Aromas of green apple, honeydew, lemon zest, and fresh apricot unfold from the glass. The wine has a balance of minerality and textured roundness on the palate, akin to Chablis. Jacquère displays more floral notes with flavors of yellow plum and slightly ripe honeydew melon.
