Louis Baisinbert Corton Charlemagne 2011
This Corton-Charlemagne is pale golden yellow in colour with subtle silvery tones and unmasks a pleasant freshness and delicate minerality on the nose. Elegant toasty notes, ripe stone fruits and acacia aromas. The palate displays a progressive and balanced increase in structure and power with a perfectly honed acidity. The silky wine lingers on the palate whilst its finesse gives way to dried fruit notes and hazelnuts. Its fleshiness adds depth and intensity. This elegant Corton-Charlemagne gives good length on the palate and a long-lasting toasty, buttery finish. Ageing potential: 10 to 30 years.
